Jacques Coat

For those of you intent on securing the one outerwear piece that can see you through both Fall and Winter, the Jacques coat has you covered.  A take on a peacoat but with a changed up volume that cocoons more than it hugs, the Jacques still has a peacoat's signature double breasted front and the high collar but the Mayle version's collar is asymmetrical in form following the lines of our Samira and Samaranda coats and secures on the wearer's left with one of the largest of our golden cameo buttons.  The coat's heavier weight, more rigid wool fabrication and dropped armholes allow for all manner of layering underneath.   The double breasted front is secured by horn buttons while golden Mayle signature cameo buttons anchor the ends of the pockets and collar. The Jacques has vertical pockets, a back vent and is lined with topstitching throughout.  Approximate body length from shoulder to hem for a size 6 is 27.5".
