PIA VEST

Stealth wardrobe staple alert!  Introducing the Pia vest, the piece that quietly transforms, tailors or highlights whatever it is paired with.  The Pia vest is part shell, part waistcoat but all about usefulness albeit with lots of decorative details.   Pair it with the Vali pant or Carlyne skirt in the same jacquard fabric to create a streamlined suiting look that can then be topped with a jacket or knit cardigan.  The vest was also cut to be layered over any one of our silk blouses for a contrast that counteracts the pretty but is equally good over a favorite white t-shirt.  Or...less than that-- try it buttoned up over a strappy something (Adea romper anyone?) to give an old favorite a new neckline.   The Pia has a round neck and slightly cropped body with an asymmetrical closure of hooks and eyes along the body and a golden cameo button at the neckline.  Try it buttoned all the way up, unbuttoned at the neck to show collarbone or completely open-- there's no wrong way to wear it.
